The Top 5 Reasons To Visit Mars (kinda)

Today I have a special post for you, instead of the normal 5 reasons I am going to give you 7! Why just 7 you ask, because it has been nominated as the worlds greatest number, by me. So lets get right to it, the top 7 reasons to visit mars.

#7) Space Animals

It would be awesome to meet a space animal, I can't even imagine what one would look like and I am loving the idea.What thought you were the only one? Everyone knows that space zebras are pretty much the coolest thing ever. The only concern I have is aggression and tameness, especially with those Martian bulls.

#6) Massive Storms

I know all of you weather watchers like me would love to be out on mars studying the giant mass of storms that last all year round, so I thought it was completely necessary. I am told around this part of the year the storms are a beautiful sight seeing experience, you should totally check into it. I am sure you could stand on your feet for a few seconds.

#5) Be The First Earthling There

Would it not be the coolest thing ever to be the first man/women on Mars, everyone would envy you. You would also get all kinds of fame and the little kids would look up to you. Money would no longer be an issue, unless of course you are beginning a colony and not just a one man space flight. Imagine being the founding father of an entire planet!

#4) Own You Own Martian Land

Everyone wants a piece of land --thats one thing-- but imagine owning a piece of land that no one else can ever contest, entirely free. I know you have your Martian neighbors to deal with, but they never bother me so why would they bother you. Martians have a very caring community, and they will accept you with open arms.

#3) Talk To Martians

I know you are already searching for your Martian Dictionary just reading this. Martians do not speak a language very foreign to us though, and if you have the dictionary you would know this. Martians created a language very similar to latin, and most of us will understand some of it.

#2) Start Your Own Government

With no laws on a new planet we must establish a government. If you were to visit there tomorrow, you would be given the duties. Meaning that anyone who ventures there would be forced to follow your laws. You would be able to do anything you want at any time!

#1) Earths Overpopulation

With every passing day now you are being more and more crowded into and already packed Earth. Solution? Go to Mars. You are being packed in here like a sardine can and your already fed up with your neighbors, so why are you waiting. Eventually us fellow Earthlings will have to go out into the great beyond, whether it be for a nuclear was or global cooling (oops I mean warming). So you might as well be the first one there for the best seat or you may never be offered one.

Top 5 Reasons NASA Deserves More Funding

Here I have compiled 5 reasons why I think NASA deserves more funding.

#5) NASA Helps The Economy

NASA's development of technology helps build the economy. Whenever NASA builds a new robot that can do backflips, we need people to build them and when we those people get paid they will buy something and that money goes back to the government. So really the government is actually making money and spurring economy by funding NASA. NASA gets funded NASA makes new jobs, NASA's new jobs put money back into the economy which will get back to the government... and everyone wins.

#4) We Have the Tech to Get To Mars

Why on Earth? No, litterally why are we on Earth when we actually have the technology to be somewhere else like Mars. If our government better funded our NASA program not only could we potentially live on the moon, but we would probably be on Mars as well. We need a plan in case of an emergency, what if our planet was invaded or there was a nuclear war? We would need to leave in a hurry, but we do not have the technology due to lack of funding.

#3)NASA Sends People To Space

Imagine all the things you could do in space.We need a place to go before we can accomplish these things though. We have a space station with lots of space, but it just isn't a place to live. We need people in space in the near future, but without the necessary funding we cannot build homes out there. People will not invest in NASA's housing plans if it isn't backed by the government.

#2) The Advances In Science NASA Would Make

NASA historically has been one of the leading innovators in technology and science. Computers could be faster and robots could have better artificial intelligence. The world would be a much safer place, the police force and military could be made entirely of robots.

#1) The Threat of Zombies

The threat from the zombie nation has loomed large over the US for many years and we need a way to escape a massive Zombie outbreak. For those of you who have recently seen I am Legend, which in the book was actually vampires, the Zombies were attacking from the inside and people just could not escape in time. The fastest way out would be through mass transportation which could be supplied by NASA with the Proper funding. Once in a while we just need to remind ourselves this threat is real.
